How to Generate Invoice using SquareFeet platform

The community admin has the authority to generate invoices for the flat owner and the tenant. He can send one invoice to multiple members upon selecting their names (that exists in the community).

There is a saying - “do not  pay one penny without proper documentation”. In a community there exist different types of charges. But, do we maintain the invoice of each one? The answer is NO.

SquareFeet understands the importance of invoices. So our “Invoice” service will allow the community admin, flat owner and the tenant maintain a transparent payment system. Here the same hierarchy as “Notice and Invoice” is followed.

That is, the community admin will be able to generate invoices for the flat owners and the tenants. The Flat Owners will have the authority to generate invoices for the tenant, and the tenant will have the authority to view the invoice.

For community

To generate an invoice from the community admin’s side, the user has to visit https://community.squarefeet.xyz/ link, and click on the “Account and Bill” section. Here there are two options, he has to select the “Invoice”.

Here, you will see the dashboard for the invoice. Click on “Create New Invoice” to generate one.

The community admin has the authority to generate invoices for the flat owner and the tenant. He can send one invoice to multiple members upon selecting their names (that exists in the community).

In the next field, the community admin has to specify the "reason" for issuing this invoice. After that, he has to select the month and the date. He can also determine the range of dates to pay for the specific invoice. Furthermore, he can add any special direction in the next field.

In the next level for generating the invoice, the user has to click on the "add" button.

How to Add Invoice

The user has to write the description for invoice, unit, price per unit and total price. He also has to add the amount of discount and the sum total for the specific invoice. Next, in the comment section he can leave the name of the vendor.

Lastly he can click on the "save" button to generate the invoice successfully. In the "list of invoice", he will get to see the created invoice and the added information.

Flat Owner:

Every step to generate an invoice for the community admin and the flat owner are the same. Except he has to click on https://home.squarefeet.xyz/ , and start with going to the invoice section, and he can only generate invoices for his tenants.

Tenants:

Tenants will get to see their invoices after clicking on https://home.squarefeet.xyz/ link and going to the invoice section.

FAQ

1. Can I pay from Invoice?

Yes, there is a payment option in the invoice index, you can click on “pay now” and make the transaction according to your choice.

2. Will this invoice be stored in SquareFeet?

Yes, you can download and print it if you wish.

3. Can a tenant issue any invoice?

Unfortunately not. A community that uses SquareFeet will be able to issue invoices for both Flat Owner and Tenants, the flat owner can issue invoice for his own tenants, and the tenants can only see and pay for the invoices.
